HP numbers are similar, but I can't imagine Subaru would dump money into an engine design that's been around since the first Bush was in office.
It'll probably be a stroked FA with a more useable powerband than the current EJ.

Based on everything I've seen so far, it has become clear to me that the ALL NEW WRX was mostly just an advertising exercise. Wherever there was an opportunity to cut corners, they did.
